Bailee Moore
Bailee Moore is the assistant director of the Bridgeland Band, where she began her career in 2019. She directs the Symphonic Band and the JV Band in addition to overseeing the woodwind pedagogy of the entire band program. Since arriving at BHS, the bands have achieved consistent UIL Sweepstakes awards in both marching and concert band, and the marching band has advanced to the UIL State Marching Contest for four consecutive years. Ms. Moore is also an assistant director of the Bridgeland Symphony Orchestra, which was invited to perform at the 2023 Midwest Clinic in Chicago.
Bailee graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. While at OU, she performed in the Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, and Symphony Orchestra on flute and piccolo. In 2018, Bailee was a finalist in the OU Concerto Competition. She also received a Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University.
In addition to her studies on flute, Bailee was also a member of the Pride of Oklahoma marching band as a trumpet player for four years. She marched a season at Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps before aging out with the Troopers in 2017. Bailee is an alumna of Kappa Kappa Psi and Sigma Alpha Iota.
Prior to her time in Oklahoma, Bailee attended Klein High School and Doerre Intermediate School. She is excited to be back in her hometown sharing her love of music in CFISD.
